Indoor Sprint Triathlon
505 N. Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg, IL, 60440
Triathletes rejoice! The chance to compete in the cold is here as the Schaumburg Park District hosts the second annual Indoor Sprint Triathlon Nov. 21 at the Community Recreation Center. This fun-filled event consists of a 10-minute swim, 15-minute bike ride and 15-minute run.

Space is limited, so only the first 48 applicants registered are eligible to participate. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $29 for residents and $39 for non-residents. Winners are determined by total distance covered and receive plaques honoring their achievement. Categories exist for males and females ages 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.

Jingle Bell Run/Walk

What Time: Registration begins at 7:00 am, Step-off at 8:00 am •Kids dash is at 9:30 am. The first 1,000 registered receive long sleeve t-shirts and jingle bells for shoe-laces. Santa Shuffle 5K

This winter, Adrenaline Sports Management invites you to take part in a truly unique and fun 5K experience. The Santa Shuffle 5K will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 in Lincoln Park, IL as the third race in the Go Green. Get Fit race series. The race will be held between Lake Shore Drive and Clark Street at 9:00 am on a course through the park. Experience the beauty of famous areas such as the Lincoln Park Zoo and the Grant and Benjamin Franklin Monuments while getting fit and going green!

Chilly Chili 5K
Schaumburg Golf Club, 401 N. Roselle Road, Schaumburg, IL 60193
Brave the cold with a 5K run and warm-up afterward with a chili lunch at the annual 5K Chilly Chili Race Dec. 5 at Schaumburg Golf Club, 401 N. Roselle Road.

The race kicks off at 10 a.m. at the Schaumburg Golf Club. Pre-registration fee is $31 by Nov. 28 and day-of registration is $35. The first 200 participants to register receive long-sleeve T-shirts. All participants must complete a race entry form. Forms are available at Park District facilities and online. Call (847) 490-7020 for more information.
