Cool Jazz Thursdays

With the expansion of the entertainment and environment in the South Loop area, M/X Patio, an outdoor patio at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, 2233 S. Martin Luther King Drive, Chicago, Illinois, has launched a great entertainment event this summer with the inauguration of Cool Jazz Thursdays. Every Thursday evening this Summer, beginning June 11, from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m., M/X Patio will be filled with the music of featured Jazz musicians from Columbia College. Additionally, the event will include a cigar bar and featured menu items from Shor.

29th Annual Taste of Chicago

There’s food for everybody’s taste at the annual Taste of Chicago where you’ll find more than 300 menu items at over 70 restaurants.
Plenty of free entertainment is available to amuse you before, during and after your dining experience. Music from internationally known talent such as Stevie Wonder and Bonnie Raitt is at the Petrillo Music Shell. See cooking demonstrations from renowned chefs such as Rick Tramonto, Art Smith and so many more.

Tour of The Chicago Theatre
Time:
12:00pm
The tour encompasses historical and architectural highlights of the building, including the grand lobby areas, majestic auditorium and backstage space (when possible) where performers through the years.
Tours take place every Tuesday & Thursday at 12pm
Thursday tours from April to September.
The running time for all weekday tours is approximately 1 hour.
Reservations do not need to be made in advance unless your party contains more than 10 people.
$5 per person, no reservations necessary
