The Metronome Celebration
Location: Milwaukee Ave. @ Armitage & Western
The Metronome Celebration will deliver over thirty original bands on 5 unique stages, featuring a Rock and an Electro Stage on Saturday, June 6th, while Sunday, June 7th will include a Punk Stage and a Folk Stage. Add in a diverse menu from over 20 restaurants, green products and service providers, arts, crafts, jewelry and more, and you've got a quarter-mile of the best of what Chicago has to offer.

Located at one of the most highly visible intersections in Chicago on Milwaukee Ave at Western & Armitage, the venue is book-ended by stops on the CTA Blue Line Train, and is less than a half-mile away from the Kennedy expressway and Metra Rail service. Over 30,000 people will descend on the strip to experience Chicago's ultimate music and culinary fare. Bring the kids to check out the Family Playground and Local Stage for a host of games and activities that will show them how fun music can be. And with an aggressive recycling and bio-degrable sourcing program, we have set a goal of keeping 50% of our refuse out of local landfills.

Admission is $5 and exact times for this special event are Saturday Noon to 10 pm and Sunday Noon to 10 pm. For more information or to get involved in Metronome go to http://www.metronomechicago.com.
